Soon!
As an AP Calculus teacher the day the College Board releases student AP Scores is a BIG DAY. When I started teaching AP Calculus (in 2001) the scores were mailed to the schools and we got them "sometime" after July 4. The scores are now released online using a rolling schedule. Alabama scores will be released July 7 at 7:00 am. I will log in to my teacher account then and get the results.
I look forward to the day AP Scores are released. I have it on my calendar. I count down to the day. 7/7 @ 7. There will be thousands of teachers trying to log in at that time. We will get up early. We will start trying a few minutes before 7 "just in case" they are released early. And then when the scores are there in black and white there is both relief and disappointment, no matter the scores.
I am at a new school this year so my scores will be particularly scrutinized. I have a reputation. I have had extremely high results for the past six years. Among the best in the state, and perhaps among the best in the nation. But that was a different school. Those were different students.
So I am nervous.
Two weeks and one day.
The scores will be released.
Good or bad, I'll be fine.
